So from then to now, so much has gone on. M-Trey's released a new mixtape "Life Support", Criss Chords has just dropped "Anonymous...Volume!", D.E.'s dropped numerous tracks with February 14th getting closer and the release of "When It All Goes Wrong" and CJ The Genesis has dropped "Hiatus".

Not forgetting ReuM, who dropped a mixtape called "The Progression: The Story So Far". With ReuM being one half of the duo Jacob:ReuM, there's their album dropping soon. So yeah, I'll set up the links now.

So, I went to see The Game last night, at the 02 Academy. If I'm completely honest, from watching videos of him getting messy, live on stage, I wasn't expecting much. But damn, didn't he deliver! He was awesome, without a doubt. Great delivery, very friendly with the crowd, hell he was great. As much as I respect Jay-Z, Game's "freestyle" lyrics were on point. He was just really good overall. Cannot wait for The Red Album.

Nothing I can say will show how impressed I am by this video. I mean the last one (titled Matty Jones Is Back on my blog) was amazing, but this it actually left me speechless. How someone has the balls and the courage to do some of this stuff is unbelievable. I booked tickets to go see him a while back but they got cancelled which really sucks, I've introduced loads of my mates to his mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi. If you ain't heard it your missing out badly, get it! And now everyone I know is hyped for his album. So I'm here to keep you up to date with the latest videos.

So Blueprint 3 is rumoured to be dropping on September 11th (again). D.o.A (Death Of Autotune) has been released. It's the street track to build up hype. With a chorus, uncannily similar to the intro on Wale's 'Chillin'', each verses pointing out rappers should get back to rap and Hov saying too many people are, "T-Paining it". Check this out. . .

So for starters, quote of 09 so far, "If we were girls. . . " - maddest way to start a sentence. I was there like, "Wut?". So that's amusing.

Ridiculously annoyed that I realised I'll have to wait that extra year to drive, ceeb explaining the way it works, I'll only confuse myself as well as you.

Been bumpin' Asher Roth's debut, "Asleep In The Bread Aisle". Funny stuff, best tracks are the first 5, Blunt Cruisin' makes me laugh. Then been addicted to M-Trey's latest two tracks. Rediscovered my love for Raekwon and RZA recently. And Method Man & Redman's, Blackout! 2 is impressive. I'll post a link to that tomorrow.

The Zen Grey colourway, the Black x Pink colourway have dropped and the tans are on their way. After the limited amount of 3,000 pair per colourway and a grand total of 9,000 Nike Air Yeezy's worldwide, it's rumoured that Air Yeezy's Generation II will be released, same limited edition, brand new colourways. These pictures are floating round on t'internet, fake? Red x Grey Colourway, they look pretty sexy if they ain't fake but I don't know but here they are anyways. . .

Reuben Morley (aka ReuM), a scouse rapper for who I have a ridiculous amount of time and respect for, announced on the 21st May that he is getting signed! He has put in so much hard work in everything he has done. From Brightest Light to his more recent work on his collaboration album, JakexReuM, he is a truly talented rapper.

What ReuM said:
"Since February I've been doing music with another guy called Jake who sings and plays guitar. We've wrote a lot of material and ended up getting quite a big fan base locally among Christians and non-Christians.

We performed a gig on Sunday night with a live band (drums/keyboard/guitar etc) and it was brilliant. We decided the CD we're working on would have to be recorded in a proper studio because a live band would make the album so much better.

Anyways, on Monday we were approached by a Christian record label! We had a 90 minute meeting today and it's happening - contracts are being drawn up now. It's exciting times.

They're going to give us the money to take to a complete studio, sell our music in HMV/Tesco/Asda and any online site you can think of (Rhapsody, Rolling Stones, Itunes, Amazon and many more...) They're going to get us gigs in bars all over the area including the o2 Academy 2 (Where Akala/Lupe have performed).

There's a lot of other stuff they'll be funding including merchandise and all that. And the best thing is, it's a 50/50 on profit. We thought we'd end up getting like 30% but no, it's half, half!

I know it's a real blessing from God with what's happening. Our new style is definatly making people stand up and take notice which is brilliant, hopefully it just keeps getting better.

Guys who aren't signed (and are better than me (M-Trey springs to mind)), don't give up. In the future when we get more exposure and are more known in Liverpool (I can guarentee from this deal we will) I'll want some of you on my tracks. I wouldn't be in this situation if it wasn't for a lot of you!"

Really, this guy more than anyone deserves it, props to him and I hope he goes far, keep reppin' Liverpool man!

A video on YouTube, with a supposed 2pac track from back in the day has come up. He speaks about TIP (known as T.I.), Obama and Hilary Clinton. Now a lot of people are saying that it's a new track from 2pac and obviously that means he ain't dead. But near the beginning there's something like, "just like Makaveli" said. I reckon, it's just a regular wannabe rapper that's spat over a beat and is trying to pass it off as Pac. Ha! Good luck. . .

On the 15th April 1989, 96 liverpool fans died.

96 people were crushed to death due to poor work from police, who opened up turnstiles, which caused a huge crush in the stands, where many were crushed to death...

The police also only let 1 of the 44 ambulances into the stadium

Right so, I opened Fruity Loops Studio 8 (the demo version) a while back and thought that it looked hella complicated. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person that has thought that, so I thought I'll put it aside for now until I have the time to sit down and actually figure it out.

So I got a new laptop and didn't have the program so I downloaded it and unlocked it so it the full version *thumbs up*. Seens as it the holidays and the weather is poor I thought I'd give it a go. So I watched some tutorials on YouTube, played around myself and came out with this. It's only 46 seconds right now and probably the worst thing you guys have ever heard but I'll at least give it a go.

So ye, into the 2nd week of the holidays. The weather ain't been to bad here in the north-west so sorry for not updating the blog guys. I've been out in the sun and I was ill for a couple of days (awww!).

So quick catch up -

-The Yeezy's dropped, the grey colourway.
-South Park did their episode on Kanye, they Gay Fish.
-Cudi announced Sky Might Fall is finished, mastered and ready for release along with another song.
-Clean version of Asher Roth's debut album "Asleep In The Bread Aisle" leaked.

I mean there is lots of news but that's what has had my attention the past few days. I'm jealous of all those who copped the Yeezy's but I'm waiting on the blackxpink colourway that drops in May. South Park didn't work their magic on Mr West, quite a easy show just poking fun at Ye's ego. And so far, I've resisted the temptation to listen to the leak of Asher and I'm gonna save myself until I buy the album when it comes out.

So I'm gonna get back on the bloggin' game and get more posts out to you guys. So keep checking. Gonna have more stuff from all the KanYeLive artists, maybe some of my own (beats, rhymes and what not) and then just general stuff that catches my eye. So see ya, god bless.

Japanese Cartoon - Army

So, rumour has it for a while now that Lupe is experimenting with a Post-Punk/Indie group called "Japanese Cartoon". He either puts on the English accent and is the singer or the other thing going around is that he is merely funding the band. Right now I've got two songs, "Heirplanes" and "Army" and that was the video of "Army". Keep looking out for more news on these guys.

Just got back about an hour and a half ago from the O2 Academy, Liverpool to see N-Dubz perform on their Uncle B Tour. O.M.G, it was amazing, so much better than I expected. Tinchy Stryder was support and made an appearance to perform the new single Number One. My ears are still ringing and I'm still pumped so I've decided to spend my time and put the pics and vids up now.

Damn, a lot of the stuff I post on here has something to do with Cudi. This dude got one official mixtape, an album dropping in the summer (his debut album) and already he got so many fans. What I got here is a video of SxSW (South By South West) festival. The owner announces Cudi is a no-show, following this the crowd bury the stage in beers and water. Well, for a while now, I've been meaning to post this but I've never got round to it. In my school, there's some lads that are into parkour. The used to be called TMR media, but due to the fact that one of them left, they have changed their name to the "Alacrity Movement". I always thought that freerunning and parkour were just having the actual balls to jump off buildings, do flips etc. But watching them, it is such a talent. What they can do is unbelievable. And although there are better people at it than them, bear in mind they in Year 10, so what's that to all you Americans reading this?

Well a lot of people must have heard of "Pastelle", the upcoming make or Kanye West. It is thought to be heterosexual rainbow coloured designs. The website www.pastellmuseum.com has yet to be updated and many people are awaiting the release of the line. Kanye announced in an interview that "items will be dropping on the internet, early January". We are yet to have access to any of the range but have an idea what items are the first to drop. Ye has also said he doesnt want to put it out and it to be a failed clothing line, so it may have been pushed back until Mr West thinks it is ready.

An Interview With Kid Cudi

Congratulations on the chart hit. Did you expect the Day 'N' Nite remix to be such a success?

I remember when I recorded it, I told my homeboy 'O Dot, who produced the track: "This is going to be a No 1 track in some country. I don't know what country, but it's going to take off somewhere." He was like: "I don't know about all that. It is a good record – but No 1?" I believed in the track but it was still my dream that it would take off in the way that way it has. It ended up blowing up not because of any label, investment or corporations pushing it, but because it created a buzz on its own. That's the best feeling, that people naturally took to the record, they connected to it. It's overwhelming, but it's also a dream come true.

When you say No 1 in some country, did you not anticipate America taking to it?

Well, yeah because it was different. I really felt nobody in America was going to rock with it and then I started to have doubts about putting it out. I'd rather be known as an MC and I was worried that if I put this out first then they wouldn't see me like that because I was singing. That was me being self-conscious about what people would think. Ultimately, I decided "fuck that" and did what I wanted to.

Like the Kanye mentality?

Yeah, but this was pre-808s & Heartbreak and pre-Graduation, pre-Stronger. I recorded it before anything that was the next level in hip-hop, especially on an underground level. I've always been ahead of the curve when it came to trying new stuff in the underground scene. I've always felt that because I'm from Cleveland, which isn't recognised as a place for hip-hop, I needed to step it up if I wanted to make myself known. I worked things out and I've found my vibe – although I'm reinventing myself with every new song.

Kanye has said in interviews that you inspire him. That must be flattering?

Yeah, yeah ... it's dope because Kanye has really been helping out. It's overwhelming how supportive he's been. People always have negative things to say about him. And now when I hear those negative things, I take that shit personally. I'm like, "Nah, you're wrong, this dude is seriously cool".

You think he is misunderstood?

Yeah, but if you're not doing what everyone else is doing then your going to be misunderstood. People are going to wonder why you're trying to be different; it's just a natural instinct. If I was to walk down the street in a kilt then dudes would wonder why I'm doing that, they'd think I was different or gay. It's natural for people to point fingers. That's my whole reason for trying to switch things up; don't judge a book by it's cover. My background is not typical hip-hop. I didn't grow up in the projects. I grew up in a single family home in a middle-class suburb. That doesn't mean I didn't experience hardship, but to me it's not about that, it's about the future and where we are trying to take it.

Have you felt misunderstood by the music industry?

Yeah, a lot. I mean from all angles. Some people just don't want to see change but thankfully there are a lot of people more optimistic for something new in music, even with the bigger picture like with Obama getting elected. The world is changing so people are more open-minded about things than they were, say, 10 years ago.

Is it true you recorded Day 'N' Nite when you were not in a great place emotionally?

Yeah. I was going through a lot of stuff at the time in my life and so I felt like I needed to write those things down just to get them off my chest. I wasn't really thinking about making a hit record or anything like that, I was just making the song to get my feelings out. That was the frame of mind I had when I created the song. It turned out really dope.

What was your initial reaction to the Crookers remix?

I immediately loved it. I thought they did an amazing job. I didn't think it was going to be as ill as it was. Before I heard it I thought, "Ah, it's techno so it's going to be cheesy", but it came out really fucking ill.
Even though Crookers are from Italy, the remix sounds like the UK grime and bass-line scenes.

Are you a fan?

I'm familiar with them. I think they're dope and that's what music should be about: crossing over into different worlds and hitting people with something different.

Are there any other UK acts that you like?

I spoke to Dizzee Rascal during the [Kanye West] Glow in the Dark tour. He came backstage. He was so cool. He's the only MC I really know from the UK so when I met him, I was like, "Oh shit, it's Dizzee Rascal!" [laughs]. DJ Semtex [BBC 1xtra] hooked us up. We exchanged numbers so hopefully we'll do some stuff together. He's dope. And he's got something to say, too. MIA came to the States and she blew up, and I think he will too. People just need to stop hating, man. Obviously, it's a different sound, even if it's just because of his accent but so what? People from the South that you can't even understand are making worldwide hits.

How did you handle being on the road with Kanye?

The tour bus is always fun, and there's plenty of time to watch movies. Actually, Kanye introduced me to the movie Step Brothers. We were sitting there, watching it and clowning around – it was so funny, man. Me and Kanye have the same sense of humour: that whole Will Ferrell, really silly, wise-ass humour, so we be clowning.

What can you tell us about your forthcoming album?

I've been telling everybody it's going to be the most magnificent album of 2009 and that's just what it is [laughs]. You know what I mean? I'm not going to say: "It's the greatest album of our time." But people do need to be ready for it. It's going to be some real, next-level shit.
